Culinary masterpiece or a warmed up dish is cooking J.J. for us?
There is a question that is bugging cook fans for very long time – could you always have culinary masterpiece if you use the same ingredients every time? I think that the answer depends heavily on what you are cooking and whom will you serve it. If you manage to prepare the same dish all over again and serve it to different people, then – yes, you can always have culinary masterpiece if you use the same ingredients every time.
Well, enough with these cooking parallels, lets cut to the point. Here are the ingredients of the new Fox show, that is about to begin in the next few days (feel free to stop me anytime, if it starts to sound familiar) – it will be a TV show produced by J. J. Abrams. The story is about an island. Jorge Garcia plays a part in the series and mysterious things happen on the island. The show is written by Elizabeth Sarnoff.
The masterpiece is named… Lost! Right? Wrong. Well, right, but not exactly the answer I expected.
Actually, we are talking here about Alcatraz, show that premiers next week – January 16 on Fox at 8 p.m.
The series is about one of the most famous prisons in the United States of America will give us a look at an alternative history of this island, located in San Francisco’s bay. Island, that have been home, at least for awhile, of such gangsters as Alphonse Gabriel “Al” Capone, George “Machine Gun” Kelly and James Joseph “Whitey” Bulger. If you want to find out how that will end up, be sure to watch Alcatraz Online.
Old and wise books tell us the story of The Rock, that was closed in 1963 and all the inmates where transferred on the mainland. Taking away from the civilization some of the most notorious criminals in the States was so expensive, that the government decided it was not worth it. Perhaps you wander how this story goes in J.J. Abrams mind? Well, be sure to watch Alcatraz online to find the details.
It appears, that in Abrams and Sarnoff’s reality, all the prisoners and their guards disappear overnight and leave the place totally abandoned. Now, some 50 years later, the inmates of the Rock start to come back one by one and make the streets of San Francisco a real nightmare.
To add up to that the shadowy government conspiracy that Abrams likes to use and we got ourselves a recipe for something. Would it be a culinary masterpiece or a warmed up dish, remains to be seen. Be sure not to miss the chance, watch Alcatraz Episode 1.
